Snorts & Giggles

Snorts & Giggles exists because we southerners always enjoy a good laugh, and often the funniest stories aren't made up. There is an art to telling a good story, and southern storytellers probably do it best! I have been compiling a collection of true, funny stories (as told to me by family and friends or from first-hand experience!) for years and, like fine china or an old cedar chest inherited from your granny, good stories will be cast aside as insignificants unless we understand their worth and share them with subsequent generations.

Be Forewarned! While Southern Edition has no intention of publishing raunchy, risque or off-color tales, some stories appearing here might not make you beam with pride should your 10-year-old decide to share them with his Sunday School class. Just bear that in mind if young readers in your household enjoy browsing the pages of Southern Edition.
